The Board of Directors

Every director has drawn from his professional background and expertise in positively contributing to the Board’s activities. The Board is responsible for directing the affairs of the Fund in the best interests of its shareholders, in conformity with legal and regulatory frameworks, and consistent with its constitution and best governance practices. The Board is currently made up of three directors.

Jimmy Wong (Director), date of appointment: 12 August 2005

Jimmy Wong is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He has been specialising in Global Business Services and has more than 20 (twenty) years of experience on tax, accounting and regulatory matters as well as structuring, administering and management companies, funds and trusts in Mauritius.

Eric A. Venpin (Director), date of appointment: 12 August 2005

Eric A. Venpin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He has been specializing in the Financial Services Sector (including Global Business Services, Insurance Services, Leasing and Audit) for several years. He has extensive experience in advising, structuring and establishing global business funds and companies.

Subhas Chandra Lallah (Director), date of appointment: 13 April 2012

Subhas Chandra Lallah, Senior Counsel, was called to the Bar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK and at the Supreme Court of Mauritius in 1971. He has had a rich career at the Bar and has acted as legal advisor to Government and other Para-Statal Bodies. He was also the Deputy Speaker of the Mauritius National Assembly. He has also participated actively in the development of the financial services sector in Mauritius and particularly the promotion of Mauritius as a Global Business Centre of good repute and standing.
